Your phone rang. What happened next?

A practical measurement note for the gap between an inquiry arriving and a job entering the calendar.

Start with the handoff

Give every inquiry a next step and an owner. Record whether the call was answered, whether it was a fit, whether a visit was booked and why it stopped if it did.

Keep the useful distinctions

A booked visit, an accepted quote and a paid job are different events. A scorecard should keep those stages separate. Otherwise a busy calendar can look like collected revenue before the work is done.

Review one real example

Pick one missed call with your team. Trace the callback, the conversation and the booking outcome. This is a worked method, not a promise that every missed inquiry can be recovered.
