The Growth Diagnostic / The paid step
BEFORE WE BUILD,
WE FIND THE HOLD-UP.
Two weeks of looking closely at your customer journey. A clear plan you can act on, with us or without us.
Credited in full against the build
Every handoff matters
FROM THE FIRST RING
TO THE PAID INVOICE.
Before the call we read everything a customer can see, from your listing to your last invoice. We also check what the competition is doing on the same searches (demand and click prices for your service area), whether your listing is complete, who owns your ad accounts, and how much of your capacity is free.
01 / The phone rings
Calls received, answered, missed, by hour and by source, from 30 days of recordings or a 7-day tracking sample we install on day one.
02 / Someone answers
Every call scored: greeting, need captured, address asked, two times offered, booked, follow-up promised. Four mystery calls at different hours and two web-form tests, timed to the reply.
03 / The job is booked
Bookings that fell out before the visit, from your software.
04 / The visit and the quote
Quotes issued, followed up within 48 hours, won, from your software.
05 / The follow-up
Who owns it today, and what happens to a quote after day 2.
06 / The job is done
Review requests sent, reviews gained per month, repeat and recall work.
07 / The invoice is paid
Revenue by source, average ticket, cost per lead and per booked job by channel, and the current spend on ads, HomeStars and directories.
What stays with you
ANSWERS.
NOT A SALES DECK.
Sometimes the answer is that marketing is not your problem. Then we say so, on the page, and you keep the report and the recordings. It happens. Sometimes the constraint is trucks, or the price book, or a partner who will not let anyone else answer the phone. You will know, and you will not have paid for a sales call.
- The Limiting Factor Report: one page. The biggest leak in dollars, the second and third, three priorities for 90 days with a target for each, the expected range with the assumptions beside it, what you would need to do, and what it would cost.
- The baseline scorecard: your numbers, dated, the "before" for anything we do next.
- The call scoring summary: how your phone is answered, call by call, with the recordings you can listen to.
- A 45-minute presentation to you, in person or on a call, and the report left with you.
- A proposal the same day or the next, with three options. No pressure to take any of them.
Two weeks, made tangible
HERE'S THE PLAN.
One fixed price, the same for every plumbing, HVAC or electrical company, and you have it on the first call. Paid before we start. Credited in full against a Foundation Sprint signed within 30 days.
The 30-minute call, or the snapshot if you started there. Then access, and a tracking number installed if you have no recordings.
We count: calls, bookings, quotes, revenue by source. We call your company four times as a customer and send two web inquiries.
The money map: what each leak is worth at your average job.
The report is written.
Forty-five minutes with you. The report stays with you.
BEFORE YOU START.
What do you need from me?
Access to your Google listing, your ads if you run them, your website, your field software, and permission to put a tracking number on your listing and site for a week. About two hours of your time across two weeks.
Will my customers know calls are recorded?
Callers to the tracking number hear a short notice. Ontario allows recording with one party's consent; we add the notice anyway. Recordings are kept 90 days and never used in marketing.
Can I do the diagnostic and nothing else?
Yes. About a third of the plan is things you can do yourself, and the report says which.
Built for the trades. Working across the GTA.
